Zosya and Jason were married on May 2 with a ceremony at the The Church of the Annunciation and a reception at the W Loft, both in Brooklyn, NY.
I started the day with Zosya as she got ready with her family and bridesmaids at the then King & Grove (now the McCarren) Hotel. All the ladies had so much fun, and I loved watching Zosya and her sister Alina bond throughout the day, starting first thing that morning.
I snuck over and captured a few images of Jason putting on his finery as well, and then, we headed over to the church for a very meaningful and beautiful ceremony. The church itself was a perfect background for this beautiful bride and groom. Zosya was so happy to be marrying her best friend, and you could tell that every time she looked at Jason.
After the ceremony, Zosya and Jason did a release of doves. Then, we had an impromptu photo walk through Williamsburg Brooklyn from the church to the reception, and I found out that Jason and Zosya live in a few blocks from the W loft. It was a perfect Brooklyn wedding!
My second shooter, Dmitriy Erlikh, arrived to help out during the reception. And it was a fun time! Zosya and Jason were honored with special toasts, and I LOVED the father-daughter dance with Zosya and her dad. Afterward, the dancing lasted all night.
The whole day was filled with magical moments, and I want to thank Zosya and Jason for giving me the honor to capture their special day.
