While every part of a bride and groom’s wedding day is important, most newlyweds find that between getting ready, greeting family and friends, and partaking in the many aspects of a traditional ceremony and reception, they barely have any time together. There’s usually very little opportunity for you to simply spend a moment with your new spouse and take in the magic that’s unfolding all around you. Of course, the bride and groom portraits also include individual shots of both the husband- and wife-to-be, typically during and after the ‘getting ready’ segment of their wedding day. These tend to be especially important for the bride, who has usually spent the best part of her morning in a chair with hair and makeup artists fawning over her! Individual bridal portraits are the perfect opportunity for the bride to enjoy being the centre of attention, show off her stunning dress and accessories, and bask in the excitement of her impending nuptials. It’s also a great chance for the groom to show how well he can scrub up!
